Your marketing spend is governed.
Now govern the rest.
Bring R&D, IT, admin, travel and every other department's spend onto the platform that governs your marketing. Every request is checked against budget, quotes are compared in one place, contract rates are enforced, and every bill is matched before it reaches SAP.

What counts as
indirect spend?
Indirect spend is everything a company buys to run the business, not to make the product it sells. It's spread across every department, many small vendors and many budget owners, which is why it's the hardest spend to control. Marketing is usually the largest share of it. That's where Brandintellé started.
Direct spend
- Goes into the product you sell
- Raw materials, components, packaging
- Managed by the supply chain team, usually in the ERP
Indirect spend
- Keeps the business running
- Marketing, IT, travel, facilities, services
- Owned by many departments, often in spreadsheets and email
RUNNING INDIRECT SPEND ON EXCEL AND EMAIL?
- Budgets are checked by hand in a spreadsheet before each purchase request
- Vendor quotes arrive by email and are compared manually
- Agreed contract rates live in files nobody checks against
- Goods and services are received, but the receipt or bill is logged weeks later
USING OTHER TOOLS?
- Procurement suites are built for buyers, not for the budget owners who spend
- The budget check still sits in a separate sheet
- Marketing runs on one system, every other department on another
- Travel and small bills are booked straight into the ERP, outside any budget
Three moments where
indirect money slips away
A department raises a purchase request
Someone checks the budget by hand in a spreadsheet. If the sheet is out of date, the request is approved anyway, or it waits days for an answer.
Spend approved without budgetA vendor is chosen
Quotes arrive by email and are compared by hand. The rate agreed in last year's contract sits in a file nobody opens, so the new PO goes out at a higher price.
Paying above the agreed rateThe books close for the month
Goods arrived and services were done, but nobody logged the receipt. Bills turn up two months late, and travel is booked straight into the ERP outside any budget. The month's provision is a guess.

No budget,
no request.
A purchase request can’t be raised unless budget is available on that line, so the check finance did by hand in a spreadsheet now happens automatically.

Agreed rates,
enforced.
A contract record for each vendor holds the rates, terms, and whether the contract is active or expired. Release several POs against one contract during the year. The system alerts you when a new request breaks an agreed rate or uses an expired contract.

Frequently asked
questions
Does this replace our procurement suite?
No. It governs each department's spend from budget to bill, and POs and bills post to SAP or your ERP. Your procurement team keeps its process.
Which departments can use it?
Any. Each department plans in its own structure: GL code, cost center, or project code.
What about travel and small bills without a PO?
They're booked straight against a budget line, split across cost centers.
Can we load our existing vendor contracts?
Yes. Each contract holds its rates, terms and status, and the system alerts you when a request breaks them.
Do vendors need an account?
No. They respond through a secure link and a one-time password.
Can we start with marketing and add departments later?
Yes. Most companies add one department at a time. Setup typically takes 2–3 months.
