The problem

TV bills are approved on the agency's word

A campaign can run thousands of spots across dozens of channels. In the finance system, it's one line and one invoice.

Checking TV bills in Excel?

  • Thousands of spots squeezed into one invoice line
  • Schedules, monitoring files and bills matched by hand, if at all
  • Wrong time bands, channels and durations slip through unseen
  • By the time a gap is found, the bill is already paid

Relying on agency reports or a once-a-year audit?

  • The schedule, the proof and the bill all come from the same side
  • Audits look back months later, after the money has gone
  • Plan changes made mid-campaign live in emails nobody can find
  • Nothing stops a spot that never aired from being billed

What it costs you

Three moments where TV money slips away

1

The spots air, or don't

Spots move to other time bands, run shorter, run on another channel, or don't run at all.

Reach you paid for but didn't get
2

The bill arrives as one line

One invoice covers every channel and programme. Nobody can see which spots it includes.

Days of manual matching, or none
!

It gets paid anyway

To keep the agency moving, finance approves it. Gaps surface in an audit months later, if ever.

Money paid for spots that never aired

Plan in

The agency's plan, line by line

The agency downloads a standard template, fills in its final costs line by line, and uploads it back. No retyping, no PDFs to read.

  • One standard format for every agency
  • Every channel, programme, time band and spot captured
  • The same template carries through to schedule and bill
Result The plan is data from day one, not a document

Spot-wise and FCT-wise, every month

Long campaigns are tracked month by month, so a gap in one month can't hide inside a yearly total.

About BARC data. Brandintellé does not buy, own or resell BARC data. Your agency uploads the BARC telecast data it already works with, and Brandintellé does the matching. TV spot monitoring is available for campaigns in India.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to buy BARC data from Brandintellé?

No. Brandintellé doesn't provide BARC data. Your agency uploads the telecast data it already uses as part of its proof.

What gets flagged?

Missed spots, wrong channel, wrong time band, wrong start time, wrong duration, language mismatch, the same ad running twice in one break, and spots billed but not aired.

Is the TV data live?

TV schedules and BARC data come in as files at spot level for each billing period. Digital platforms like Google and Meta connect live through separate integrations.

When does the check happen?

Before the invoice is approved. Deviations are visible to marketing and finance while the bill is still under review.

What if we changed the plan during the campaign?

Changes you agreed with the agency can be accepted against the spot with a note or attachment, so the record shows why, and they don't count as errors.

Does it work for print and radio too?

Yes. Print is checked insertion by insertion and radio spot by spot, on the same screens and approval trail.

Does it work outside India?

Not yet. TV spot monitoring currently works with BARC data for campaigns in India.
